Privacy Ordinance
The City of Osmio is a global ID-PKI certification authority and municipality whose municipal charter was adopted at the Geneva headquarters of the International Telecommunication Union, a United Nations agency, on March 7, 2005.
This City of Osmio Privacy Ordinance defines the privacy and information ownership practices of the Authenticity Enterprise other entity whose link brought you here. “Us” or “we” refers to such Authenticity Enterprise or other entity, which incorporates this Privacy Ordinance into its agreement with you.
Information that identifies you – PII or Personally Identifying Information – is considered by us to be your Personal Intellectual Property . All information that you disclose to us will be considered Personally Identifying Information. We consider your Personally Identifying Information to be protected by your copyright, and we consider your Personally Identifying Information to be your secret, to be protected by intellectual property laws that protect copyright and trade secrecy, whether or not you have taken steps to claim copyright and trade secrecy protection. Specifically, we consider your Personally Identifying Information to be part of a Personal Biographical Work that is protected by your Personal Non-disclosure Agreement (Personal NDA) whether or not you have explicitly created those documents by taking steps to create your MOI (MyOwnInformation) Personal Intellectual Property vault. Even if you have not taken such steps to create your MOI (MyOwnInformation) Personal Intellectual Property vault, Personally Identifying Information that you share with us about yourself is considered by us to be part of your MyOwnInformation files. By sharing it with us you have granted us a license to use it only as a part of our relationship with you and only to maintain that relationship.
Gathering of Personally Identifying Information.
The Authenticity Institute, Inc. collects non-personally identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. The Authenticity Institute, Inc.’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how visitors in the aggregate use its website. From time to time, The Authenticity Institute, Inc. may release non-personally identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website. The Authenticity Institute, Inc. also collects potentially personally identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged-in users and for users leaving comments. The Authenticity Institute, Inc. only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally identifying information as described below.
Gathering of Personally Identifying Information.
Certain visitors to our website choose to interact with us in ways that require us to gather Personally Identifying Information. The amount and type of information that we gather depends on the nature of the interaction. Those who engage in transactions with us – by purchasing our products and services, for example – are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In each case, we consider such information to be your personal intellectual property, collected by us only in so far as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of your interaction with us. We do not disclose personally identifying information other than as described below. We may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to our website. We may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, we do not disclose Personally Identifying Pnformation other than as described below.
Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information
The Authenticity Alliance is a group of entities that are licensed by The Authenticity Institute, Inc., to use certain technologies and methods in their operations. The license by which your Personally Identifying Information is disclosed to us does not extend to other members of The Authenticity Alliance unless (i) you explicitly declare that to be the case, by clicking or otherwise designating your agreement to become an individual affiliate of The Authenticity Alliance; or (ii) in cases where the employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations that need to know such information to process it on behalf of The Authenticity Institute, Inc., or its licensed member enterprises of The Authenticity Alliance; or (iii) to provide services available at the websites of member enterprises of The Authenticity Alliance, and who as part of their Authenticity Enterprise License Agreement have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using The Authenticity Institute, Inc.'s websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. The Authenticity Institute, Inc., will not rent or sell potentially Personally Identifying Information to anyone other than to its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations, as described above,
The Authenticity Institute, Inc., discloses potentially Personally Identifying Information only in response to a subpoena, court order, or other governmental request.
If you have supplied your email address, we may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or keep you up to date with us and our products and services. We primarily use our various product blogs to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum.
Cookies
A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor's computer, and which the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. As a member enterprise of The Authenticity Alliance, we use such persistent cookies only in cases where you explicitly authorize us to do so. Without such authorization from you, only session cookies that do not persist after your visit to the website will be used, in order to facilitate continuity within the visit.
The instance and content of cookie information in your computer are considered to be Personally Identifying Information, licensed by you to us under the terms of the standard Personal Non-disclosure Agreement and related Personal License.
Business Transfers
If we, or substantially all of our assets, were to be acquired, or in the unlikely event that we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur and that any acquirer of our website may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this Ordinance.

Although most changes are likely minor, The City of Osmio may change its Privacy Ordinance from time to time, and at Its sole discretion. You are invited to participate in the governance of The City of Osmio, including its Privacy Ordinance Commission. We encourage you to frequently check this page for any changes to the Osmio Privacy Ordinance. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Ordinance will constitute your acceptance of such change.
