License 27: Fundraise Auditor

People who launch campaigns on sites such as GoFundMe or Patreon depend on the ability of members of their audiences to discern the integrity of their cause; however, those audience members lack sources of evidence of the integrity of the appeal, and because many such appeals are fraudulent or semi-fraudulent, audiences have become wary of fundraising appeals.

The Fundraise Auditor Professional License designates a trained and qualified individual person who assumes liability for the consequences of fraudulent fundraising efforts. For that reason the Fundraise Auditor will exercise diligence in verifying the claims of those who launch campaigns.
